What is LongShot?
A golf pool app where you create flexible pools by picking one or more upcoming PGA Tour events. Invite your friends with an easy share link (coming soon), then everyone makes 4 picks per tournament.
How scoring works
You earn points from the prize money your picks win. Picking long-odds players pays off with a bonus—so the name fits.
Your score per pick is prize money + LongShot bonus—but the LongShot bonus only counts if your pick makes the cut. The LongShot bonus is 20× the odds (locked when the tournament starts) and is capped at 10% of the tournament prize pool. Think of a long shot at +4500 who sneaks into the weekend: they earn a 90,000-point LongShot bonus (4500 × 20) plus whatever prize money they take home. If your pick misses the cut, you get 0 points for that pick. Longer odds mean a bigger LongShot bonus when your pick performs.
